I’m honestly not sure what to suggest – I think they’re probably past the point of being able to fix, darn it. First time doing some healthy snack and I’m impressed thank you for this recipe , I wanted to know how many days will they last? I baked them for an extra 5+ minutes on top of the 17 minutes. To say the least, I had been put though the emotional ringer. I change it out every week so there’s lots of good menu planning inspiration. It’ll be fine – the muffins might be a bit more hearty-tasting and slightly more dense with red wheat, but I’d say go ahead and use it. I haven’t tried – it’ll definitely affect the overall texture since they don’t break down or soften like rolled or quick oats, but might be worth a try. Gonna go check now that I’m done typing.
